What's new

Per-Service access control

You can now assign Read, Write, or Admin access to individual users or groups at the Service level — giving you finer control over who can do what within each Service, rather than applying blanket access across the whole environment. This replaces the previous all-or-nothing model.

This is the foundation for full self-service group and role management, which is coming in a future update.

SVIEW application logs — now generally available

Logs are now available directly in the SVIEW Application view for all Components. Open a Component and navigate to the Logs tab — no Grafana or kubectl access required. Retrieves up to 6 hours of log history.

MCP server — now in beta (read-only)

Your SVIEW data is now accessible via an MCP-compatible interface, enabling AI tools to read platform state on your behalf. To connect:

Click your profile in the bottom-left corner of SVIEW.
Go to Integrations.
Generate a Personal Access Token (PAT).

This is a read-only beta. Raise a request if you encounter any issues or have feedback.

SecretManager improvements

You can now copy and paste a full dependency block using the Copy button in the SecretManager block within Application view.
Namespace global secrets are now supported — secrets defined at the namespace level are available to all Components in that namespace without manual linking.

CloudFlare traffic shielding for ingress

Restrict your load balancer to only accept traffic routed through CloudFlare, blocking direct connections. Available on AWS and GCP. Requires CloudFlare Proxy to be active on your domain. See Ingress, Custom Domains and TLS for details. Raise a request to enable.

Traefik (ingress) metrics in Grafana

Ingress request metrics are now visible in your Tenant Grafana dashboard if you have a dedicated observability stack.

CloudHSM on AWS — generally available

CloudHSM is now available for production use on AWS. Raise a request to discuss whether it fits your security requirements.

New Catalog items

TiDB CDC — real-time change data capture from MySQL to TiDB; designed for live migrations and analytics without impacting your production database.
RethinkDB — distributed real-time database for applications that require live updates and low-latency data synchronisation.

Node compliance reports

View a 6-month node patching compliance report in SVIEW under Reports → Nodes (AWS only). The report is exportable as CSV and shows whether your nodes meet ISO patching requirements alongside current capacity and utilisation.

Platform updates

These changes improve platform stability and performance. No action is needed from your team.

Kubernetes 1.34 — upgrade complete across all clusters. Brings improved scheduler performance and the latest security patches.
