July 2026

Temporary AWS roles through Teleport, zero-downtime MySQL upgrades, KEDA autoscaling, an opt-in Client VPN and a BigQuery connector for Kafka.

Platform changes released in July 2026.

New features

Temporary AWS roles through Teleport

Request temporary AWS roles directly through Teleport and SVIEW, instead of managing standing IAM credentials. Access is scoped and time-boxed, which reduces the risk that comes with long-lived keys.

Availability: Available now (AWS only)

Automatic application metrics discovery

SVIEW now discovers your application metrics automatically, so there is less manual setup before your services appear in observability.

Availability: Available now

Zero-downtime MySQL upgrades

A new blue-green upgrade path takes MySQL 8 to 8.4 with near-zero downtime. Planning an upgrade? Raise a request and we will help you scope it.

Availability: On request

Event-driven autoscaling with KEDA

Event-driven autoscaling with KEDA is now supported, so workloads can scale on events rather than on CPU and memory alone.

Availability: On request (AWS and GCP)

Client VPN (opt-in)

A simpler Client VPN, built on NetBird, for securely connecting your users to private environments and services. It is an opt-in service, rolled out to customers who ask for it — raise a request to be onboarded.

Improvements

  • MCP server in Claude Desktop — sign-in now works through Auth0, so you can use the SVIEW MCP server in Claude Desktop, not only Claude Code. See User Profile.
  • Active sessions — the Integrations page now lists all your active sessions, so you can see where you are signed in.
  • Client IPs behind Cloudflare — the X-Real-IP header is now passed through from Cloudflare to ingress, so real client IPs show up in your application logs. See Ingress, Custom Domains and TLS.

New in the Catalog

  • Kafka connector for BigQuery — stream Kafka topics straight into BigQuery for analytics, without building and maintaining your own pipeline. See BigQuery Connector.

Platform maintenance

No action is needed from your team.

  • The default TLS certificate served by ingress no longer shows any Traefik branding.

Early access

Not yet generally available. Raise a request to opt in.

  • ClamAV auto-suspend — nodes can be suspended automatically when ClamAV flags them, with reporting and, on AWS, an SNS topic notification. Available on AWS and GCP.
